August 1st, 2024, Prometech Software, Inc. (Head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Takahiko Suzuki), is pleased to announce a Distribution Agreement with Armatus, Inc. (Head office: Colorado, USA; CEO: Mica Imamura), with the company mission to build the innovation pipeline to meet critical capabilities gaps through the rapid acquisition of commercial dual-use technologies ( ※1). With this agreement, Prometech Software will leverage Armatus’ extensive network to promote the development and roll-out of dual-use technology across the Asia-Pacific, US and European regions.
(※1)Dual-use technologies are technologies that can be used in both commercial and national security applications.


Armatus actively promotes the development of dual-use technologies in Japan and the USA. We also offer deep experience across government and the private sector with extensive networks across the U.S., Japan, Australia and the broader Indo-Pacific encompassing defense, national security, technology, space, and digital sectors.
Prometech Software drives ‘high value-added manufacturing’ across diverse industries by integrating cutting-edge HPC, GPGPU, visualization and CG technologies. At the heart of this innovation is our advanced physical modeling, including particle method simulation technology.
Prometech Software, leveraging its extensive expertise and technology in the simulation field, will collaborate with Armatus to enhance awareness and customer acquisition of dual-use technology in both the US and Japan. By utilizing Armatus’ network with government agencies, defense industries, and private companies, the partnership aims to create new business opportunities.
Through this collaboration, both companies will advance the development of dual-use technology in Japan and the US, thereby contributing to the resolution of societal challenges.
